Blessed Brother Sirvante; On: Evolving into faith!

Adversity...Strife....Tribulation.....and Confusion!  Sometimes the substance of our everyday world.  Sometimes the reality of our everyday life.  Friends; they come and go.   Sometimes the winds of change continue to blow even before we can put up a tent.  And we sometimes wonder why the sun continues to shine everywhere but on us!  Sometimes we wish we had a rock just to knock it out the sky!  Because in our hearts all we ever feel is the rain.  Some distant storm that keeps on bounding!  And never seems to go away.  We scream for mercy, but it never seems to be at hand.  Life becomes like some desert wilderness.  And you're that one speck of sand that can't get out the whirl wind!  Where can we go when all faith is lost?  How can we continue when the hope we sought estranges us, like a butterfly leaving the cocoon.   Our mind tells us that there's got to be a better way.  Yet our heart continues to beat two steps to the left.  Can passion rule the day?  Can life's forces really shift in mid stream, like the changing of an ocean wave.   Is hope yet lost only to be found?  Can our life evolve like circles; yet see our way straight to the finish!  I've often heard it said if you want to climb a mountain, then first you have to try.   No one get's to the finish if they never enter the race.   And if they never enter the race, they can never hope to win.   The truth of victory, is it's in the trying.  And the truth of life, is it's in the faith.  You can't live if you don't live, so to speak.   And you can't have faith if you don't believe.   It starts with yourself!  Turn first to God in all things of substance.  And he will give you the substance you need to get through all things.  And that's a true measure of Faith!
Bless you all in the name of Jesus!  Blessed Brother Sirvante.

Blessed Brother Sirvante; On: The Diverse Nature of Right!

In political speak you will often hear a politician say, we can agree to disagree.  In order to invoke some kind of diplomatic cure for a perceived misunderstanding.   When in fact they really might not agree on anything at all!  The whole point is really just to try to move the whole process forward;  or discussion as it were.  But can anything really ever expect to be resolved that way.   Does it matter who's right and who's wrong?  Or is it simply a question of perspective?  Is it possible that both sides could be right?  Depending on what your agenda is, it is possible.   And if that's so, well then what's the point of discussion?   Jesus Christ, was crucified on a cross!  Now let's examine for a moment the many rights in that.  And sometimes the best way to understand right is to understand from a point of wrong.  Now according to the law, the Jewish people were right to demand His life.  Because He violated a biblical principal of theirs.  Even though under the Roman law, according to Pontius Pilate, He wasn't in violation of anything.  Never the less he appeased them in their law.  Now Jesus begged for God's relief in prayer on the eve of His crucifixion.  Yet God remained stead fast in this requirement that He must make this sacrifice for the good of all man kind!  And Jesus, explained to His disciples that the prophecy must be fulfilled in order to gain the redemption of the soul of man.  For God had removed His favor.  And held man in a condemnable state.  So the sacrifice was necessary to lift man back to grace!  And God's promise and requirement supper seeded man's understanding.  Because in fact in death mankind would receive eternal life!  For their sins being washed in the blood of Jesus Christ!  The truth in life is that we all come and go in grace.  And it is God's grace which sustains us!  So we must never forget that when interacting with one another.  And there in you will find the nature of right!
Bless you all in the name of Jesus!  Blessed Brother Sirvante.

On: Nurturing The Spirit!

We to often go through life without ever really taking the proper time to figure out where we came from, and where we're going.  Our lives sometimes become a jumbled mess of what if's, and what could of's.  We get discouraged!  We fall into despair!   And sometimes we even lose our barrings on where we really want to go with our lives.  We seek endeavors that prove themselves out to be pointless, or miss guided at best.   We search the universe and the stars for some kind of deeper depth of understanding.  All the while hoping to find something more central to the existence of us!   Could it be we are truly alone when we are lonely.  Is there truth in the thought that in the end we all must face our own short comings?  And if so, why?  Can there not be a better way to meet two parts to the middle?  Does our understanding really limit us to the projections that are wholly contained in the centralization of self?  Or can we look forward to a grander day. A day when freedom of the spirit will release us to a better way.  We must all be willing to not only search the inner depths of our own understanding;  but rather, and including the inner depths of our own perception as well.  Because seeing is two parts to the third part of believing.   You can't get to destiny if you don't know where destiny is.   Yet we don't know destiny until we get there.  Or so it seems.  I've heard it said that sometimes we create our own destiny.  By our ways, and conducts, and actions!  I think there's probably more truth in that then not.   As we seek to search for a better self.   One that's independent of the shallowness of our own understanding.  Something that perhaps truly might lift us to a better day, in a better kind of way.  I think we should all remember that, there is truth in God!  And God's truth is absolute.   Wholly separate and apart from ourselves.   Yet with the power to lift us to a better day in a better way.  In truth we find peace!   In truth we find God!  Pray on it!

Blessed Brother Sirvante: The Complexities of Despair!

Have you ever had one of those days when the world's just been beating you up so hard that, you wake up in the morning and pat yourself down for bullet holes, and to make sure you're still her for one more run at the good fight!  Well let me tell you I've been in many fights in my life.  And the one thing I've come to understand is they rarely end up like we anticipated they would.  In fact allot of the time we end up with egg on our face, and a big beach towel size happy face rag to wipe off the humiliation in hopes that nobody really noticed the stupidity  of our cause.  Like the Britt's  say, "All in good fun laddies!"  I guess that's easy to say if you're half way through your third pint of beer.  But what about us everyday suffering folk!  The ones that get up everyday to be the grind to provide for an lethargic  reception at best.  Or those that have become so buried in their despair that the world doesn't even notice them anymore.  And what about the children we pass along the way of our everyday existence.  Were their faces clean?  Were they smiling?  Did the mother seem at ease as she hustled by to her next destination still two days behind the first appointment of call.  Did you even bother to notice.  There is a crises out there.  People are crying!  They're hungry!  And everyday they die just a little bit more.  Kinda like you when you're in the darkness of the throws of your bedroom, and you think either nobody is paying attention.  Or even worse nobody cares!  Well friends I'm here to tell you, you got a friend in Jesus!  He won't ask you any questions.  Won't grill you about your logic that got you to a place you never thought you'd be.  He won't even say, I told you so.  In fact the only thing that He will ask of you as He heals you a new, is to do like kind to others by the goodness of your grace!   Do we become so consumed with our selves that we can't see past our noses to feel and share in the pain of others.  Or have we become so jaded as a society that by not making the plight of others matter, we've reached a point of indifference within the parameters  of our own existence; thus diminishing  the hope of rescue from our own afflictions for lack of ability to see past our selves long enough to aid in the affliction of others, thereby bringing true continuity into our own existence.  Thus creating a sustainable balance wholly ratified in the goodness of the spirit of God, to take you into a blessed continuum of new heights.  For want of recognition for the stabilized balance of good meets good on an equal plain of equality!
